Plan Your Visit

to the Northwest Carriage Museum

When you come to the Northwest Carriage Museum, you’ll see more than just carriages! Our goal is to keep history alive, and you’ll come out of our museum with an appreciation of horse-drawn transportation, our forefathers, and our history.

The largest tourist attraction in Pacific County, we have over sixty vehicles and more than a thousand artifacts on display! The Northwest Carriage Museum is described as a world-class museum and has one of the finest collections of 19th Century horse-drawn vehicles in America.

The museum is family-friendly, with an interactive display area that is great for kids of all ages! Enjoy learning in our one-room schoolhouse, see how a wheel is made in our blacksmith’s shop, climb into our Three-Spring Democrat wagon, or learn how to drive a carriage yourself with our mechanical talking horse!

Our museum gift shop features many products from local businesses and carries unique jewelry, books, toys, and more!

Bring your lunch and enjoy a picnic at the beautiful park next door along the banks of the pristine Willapa River. Restaurants, breweries, wineries, motels, campgrounds, and shops are just minutes away.
